disco time.

Wearing: Topshop blouse, Ragged Priest customised Levi's, H&M bandeau, random shoes, vintage jewellery.
So we had a mini photo sesh before we went out the other night and this is the result. It was so good to get out of the flat and drink cocktails and dance like idiots. I know all i ever say is how stressed i am but i am seriously freaking out about life! I think i need to gain some perspective maybs?
What are the thoughts on the shorts? In June i tried some v similar ones in Topshop but chose the standard american flag ones instead and i have regretted it ever since. I searched Topshops across the country but to no avail. So when i spotted these in Manchester the other week i snapped them up in an instant. I'm pretty sure they'll be constantly attatched to my body for the forseeable future.
Peace out lovers!

sports luxe.

Wearing: Vintage top & vest, Topshop shorts, boot from random cheap shop in Manchester, Topshop coat & vintage jewellery.
I never really got into the sports luxe thing when it was 'on-trend' but i'm really appreciating these shorts right now. They've been hanging around in the back of my cupboard for a while now and i felt now was the right time to whip them out. I think that if it was socially acceptable i would go everywhere in sweatpants and these are kind of the fashion equivelant? I got the boots in some random shop but they're just like the Toppers ones i have been lusting after for a long time at a snip of the price! I'm so short i just love a shoe that is casual enough for day time but still gives you abit of a lift.
I know i blogged ages ago about the new Forever 21 store in Birmingham but it has finally opened! Has anyone been? It's only about an hour from here on the train so i will defs be checking it out when i have some spare time. I'm off to London this weekend with the girls so i will finally get to debut the purchases i made in Manchester last week. Very exciting.

Cackle!

So i was trying to be a witch, but my friends descrbied me as 'you in a pointy hat'. I sprayed the ends of my hair black though which led to a frezy of dip dying in this last week, i'm just too excitable.
I went to Manchester and Liverpool yesterday, that's right - both in one day.
Equating in 6 hours spent on trains, how joyous. I was totally exhausted by the end of it, but managed to pick up a few new purchases along the way. Will post when i leave the flat to go somewhere other than the library.

CATS!

Erin's 23rd birthday celebrations: afternoon tea party & cats night out. We were absolutely dedicated to the cause, meowing 'til the early hours. I thoroughly enjoyed my turn as a white and black cat anyway, although the talc in my hair proved extremely difficult to remove. MEOW!

lesbian girl band.

Wearing: Topshop coat, top, shorts, shoes. H&M socks. Vintage bag and jewellery.

So third year doesn't allow for much play time. But we managed to break out of the eat/sleep/work routine for one night only and hit up NCC. We realised we looked like a girl band, and then we decided that we should all be lesbians. Clearly the night was a success.
Oh and my hair is now mousey brown. I like. I think.

hat attack.

I am wearinnng Topshop tee, H&M skirt, Zara cardy, H&M hat, Next shoes and Vintage bag & jewellery.

Since i bought this hat, it's been pretty much surgically attached to my head. I'm having my hair coloured brown later, exciting. Then i'm having a curry and watching XFactor. My life is so wild right now. Oh but i got contacts!! For those that know me this will literally be a highlight of their lives, no more squinty meee!

poncho's in the noughties.

Vintage poncho, Next jeans, River Island wedges, H&M hat, Vintage jewellery.

Ahh i haven't had internet for over a weeeek! How dread. These were taken on our last day in Milan which seems like forever ago now.

I'm back at university in Nottingham working my bum off like some kind of slave to fashion marketing. Got a few exciting projects lined up though so there is much to be positive about. Although on the downside as mentioned we have no internet or tv in our flat yet. So Izzy and I mainly spend our evenings (or whats left of them after slaving away in Bonington til a ridiculous hour) staring each other in the face singing along to absolute radio. Talk about living the dream.

Also received some AMAZING jewellery from theredhiney blog the other day. If you haven't checked out her handmade jewellery do so now it is incred. Will post some of the pieces in my next post. Until then, muchos student slave love.

PS. If you're a student just drop out before third year, honestly.

Milan essentials.

H&M hat, Topman cardy, H&M shirt, Topshop dress, Raybans, Vintage bag & jewellery.
I LOVE MILAN. I want to move there asap. I've never seen so many beautiful people in the same place at one time.
And the pizza is excellent.
